On January 20th, the United States government announced the start of a USAID restructuring that has since had a significant impact on the global development industry. This situation is changing day by day, with a lot of uncertainty about what the future will yield.
In the immediate term, our focus is on supporting our partners as they navigate these immediate challenges. Here is what Dimagi is doing to support our partners.
Making CommCare More Affordable
With USAID funding cuts, organizations face intense budget pressure. Our priority is to help CommCare users, including locally-led organizations, sustain their vital work without added financial strain. To support these organizations, we will be reducing the price of CommCare’s Standard Plan from $250 USD a month to $100 a month.
If you’re interested in learning more or signing up, share your information here, and we’ll keep you updated. We’ll be implementing this change in the coming weeks. We’ll notify all current Standard Plan partners as soon as these changes take effect.
Supporting Our Networks
We recognize that many organizations are facing urgent funding gaps. For partners directly impacted by USAID’s stop-work orders, we are offering letters of support for humanitarian waivers to ensure continued access to CommCare.
